You know work's been raining crazy when i havent blogged for five days now. Am absolutely fatigued, but sleep refuses me. I close my eyes and i think of you and you and you and you and you, and all the people who never are there when you need them most, and all the people who have been there, and all the people who come and go, and all the people who fade away like yellowed yearbooks, and all the people who have meant so much more to me than i them, and all the people who have loved me so much more than i them. The world and all of its contradictions and ironies are quite so maddening sometimes- feelings almost always mismatched, affections misplaced, intentions misunderstood, words misread, gestures that mislead.

I really wonder why festivities/special occasions mean so much to me. I just like the idea of them being well celebrated and being able to spend it with special people i suppose. but its difficult to find special people(those who are free anyway). and settling for second best never fails to disappoint. so, i end up with nothing on my itinerary. Its those bloody adverts i tell you, the perfect portrait of romance really appeals. so here's to another year, and another blank in my calendar.
